Multimodality – Here and Now
On behalf of the Organising Committee, I would like to extend a warm invitation to you and your family to attend the 39th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine to be held in Sydney, NSW in 2009.
The Meeting will be held from Thursday, 23 April to Monday, 27 April at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbour and the theme is Multimodality - Here and Now. The main meeting will commence early on Saturday morning 25 April well after the ANZAC Day Dawn Service is held at Martin Place. We will start with plenary sessions, followed by special interest group meetings and award papers. Our invited speakers are from Europe, Canada and the U.S.A., giving an international perspective. A fun social programme has also been planned.
The Pre-Meeting Symposium on Friday, 24 April will be held at the Dockside, balcony level at Cockle Bay Wharf, on the city side of Darling Harbour. It will address the role of multi-modality imaging in radiotherapy planning. We are fortunate to have overseas, interstate and local experts providing information in this area.
The conference venue is centrally located so that registrants will not only be able to learn about advances in Nuclear Medicine but will also be able to enjoy the beauty of Sydney Harbour and the shops in the nearby city centre.
We are very fortunate that our colleagues in industry have supported this meeting. You will be able to meet with them in the exhibition hall and learn about the new equipment and services that they can offer. They have enabled us to hold this conference in Australia’s most beautiful and cosmopolitan city and we thank them for this.
