SPECT/CT FUSION –Finding Lost Lesions
2 years ago, on the 13th of February 2007, our department installed the Philips Precedence, a diagnostic 6 slice SPECT/CT system. Since then we have performed over 400 SPECT/CT scans.
The SPECT/CT’s we perform are a mix of high & low dose scans, for anatomical correlation and attenuation correction as well as diagnostic CT scans.
This poster looks at 3 interesting and different studies, which without the use of the SPECT/CT fusion could have either been misdiagnosed or missed all-together.
